Incredibly polished device
Great all-purpose mobile camera
IOS 8 is fantastic
The exposure compensation control – a sun symbol on a thin line – is welcome. The integration of the new controls won't disturb the point and shooters but will delight the serious photographer. Video quality is superb and there is slow motion available.

The editors didn't like
Some specs aren't as high as they should be
Some features don't work in Australia yet
Expensive
Skin colour in bright sunlight is too ruddy
With a general tendency to oversaturate reds. RAW capture would be the icing on the cake
Still pricey
Screen too lowres
Battery life isn't much better than it is on last year's iPhone 5S. And there's wasted space
An even larger screen could have been squeezed into the same housing
Screen is larger
But not really a huge improvement
Fixed storage with no way of upgrading
Slippery
Hand-hold for thumb at the bottom is a bit of a balancing act with a phone this size

A great design (as you would expect from Apple), with a polished look and premium feel, Excellent camera performance and the slow motion feature is very smooth, A lot of storage and nice choices of capacity to choose from
The camera is protrudes through the back, which makes it uneven when laid down on a table, The Apple price tag, Some users may prefer the 1080p screen on that features on the iPhone 6 plus
I love the subtle changes made to the latest design. The clarity of the display is very impressive, but if you are not put off by a bigger chassis then you may wish to opt for the iPhone 6 plus, which features a full 1080 HD resolution. The other issue fo...
