I have to applaud the lengths to which Samsung has gone to in order to try and make the thing feel useful. This is not a device for people who struggle with applications but for those who love cool devices

The editors didn't like
The ridiculous number of features and the $999 price tag mean this is a serious invest and what I would have liked is a free cover to hide the plastic back

Screen DPI set too high
Fonts and icons are too large
Notification UI is a mess and needs to be fixed
Samsung's Android customisations may delay updates
Price compared to the competition
Many TouchWIZ features are gimmicks
Gallery app is sluggish
Tricky to hold
Expensive
S Pen still limited
Tacky plastic rear
TouchWiz needs a refresh. High price
More plastic casing
Even if it does have a nicer back than other Galaxy devices
Features the same bugs and crashes from this year's Galaxy-based smartphones in the Australian region (sigh)
Fantastic display, Lightning fast processor and performance, Excellent battery life, Great multitasking, Good camera
Skeumorphic physical design will not be to everyone's tastes

Too many time have I written that a particular device is now by far my favourite device and for the time I spent with the Note 3,that was right. However, moving back to a different handset I realise just how much I missed a more manageable form factor. Fo...
Abstract: Should you go for a big phone or a small(er) phone? In the case of the LG Nexus 5 and the Galaxy Note 3 you have two of the best on the market at the moment but each has different ambitions and both LG and Samsung have different ideas on how a 2013 flagsh...

Abstract: The original Note was widely mocked when it was first unveiled in 2011. Two years on Sony, Huawei , HTC, LG, Nokia, and even BlackBerry have produced phablets of their own. Yet the Note remains the most popular product in the category and the one that con...
Awesome Screen, Awesome Specs, Latest Version of Android, Loads of Software enhancements, S Pen
Wireless charging without the extra cost would have been nice, Speaker could be better
So that's the end of our written review and I must say I haven't enjoyed reviewing a device as much as the Note 3 in a long time and I now understand why people rave about the Note lineup. The only reason I can see that people would avoid the Note 3 is i...
Great for viewing videos and pictures, Fast processor makes for a very smooth experience, S Pen Stylus and almost flawless handwriting recognition
Practically impossible to use with one hand, Cheap materials when compared to the competition, Samsung software includes a lot of gimmicky features, Also Consider: HTC One Max, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, LG G2, DESIGN AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS, At first glance, the
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an exciting addition to the Note phablet range, with a number of handy features for both new long-time smartphone users. After using the Note 3 for about a week now, I can honestly say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I've always...

Great display; Excellent battery, SPen included; Good camera; Competitive price
Jury is out on the plastic/fauxleather combo; Large size not for everyone
The Note 3 is a stellar effort from Samsung. Star features include the full HD 5.7in display and excellent battery life, all for a reasonable price....
Powerful innards gobble up Android, Your eyes will appreciate the big screen, S Pen is finally very useful
Still too big for constant one-handed use, Design and build could be more premium
Put simply, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the best phablet in the world right now. Its glorious 5.7in screen pumps out crisp detail and punchy colours while still remaining pretty portable, at least compared to the gargantuan 6.4in Sony Xperia Z Ultra. I...
