I have to applaud the lengths to which Samsung has gone to in order to try and make the thing feel useful. This is not a device for people who struggle with applications but for those who love cool devices

The editors didn't like
The ridiculous number of features and the $999 price tag mean this is a serious invest and what I would have liked is a free cover to hide the plastic back
The ridiculous number of features and the $999 price tag mean this is a serious invest and what I would have liked is a free cover to hide the plastic back.
Screen DPI set too high
Fonts and icons are too large
Notification UI is a mess and needs to be fixed
Samsung's Android customisations may delay updates
Price compared to the competition
Many TouchWIZ features are gimmicks
Gallery app is sluggish
Tricky to hold
Expensive
S Pen still limited
Tacky plastic rear
TouchWiz needs a refresh. High price
More plastic casing
Even if it does have a nicer back than other Galaxy devices
Features the same bugs and crashes from this year's Galaxy-based smartphones in the Australian region (sigh)

The Note 3 is an iterative product, that's absolutely true, but the improvements in the Note 3 are pretty dramatic. It really does feel better, thinner, lighter all while having a bigger, more usable display. The silicon inside is incredibly quick, easily...

Most powerful hardware available, Best display we've seen on a smartphone this size, Removable battery, expandable storage, Outstanding battery life, S Pen offers unmatched utility, Unparalleled multitasking ability
TouchWiz is still overwrought, UI doesn't make maximum use of screen resolution, Performance hiccups in Exynos version give us pause,
We know: it's a lot to take in. That's almost always the case with a flagship-class smartphone, and even more so with a device like a Galaxy Note. It's not just physically larger; it's larger-than-life , with a spec sheet and a feature set that seem al...

Gorgeous full HD display, Air Command menu is ingenious and helpful, Excellent handwritingtotext conversion
Some S Pen functions questionable, Rear camera gets in the way of notebook, Soso battery life
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the best Samsung phone I've ever used. It's big, it's powerful and it finally turns the S Pen — the small stylus that goes hand-in-hand with the Galaxy Note line — into something useful. It's even better than the Galaxy S4.To...
The Galaxy Note 3 is priced at $299 on-contract through all major carriers ($349 at Sprint) here in the US. The price isn't surprising, as this is the tippity top of the top tier offerings from any manufacturer in the world. It delivers the best specs a p...
The biggest change with the Galaxy Note 3 is that it is now no longer frustrating to write with the S Pen on a small screen. Unlike writing in a smaller Moleskine journal, my scribbles on the Note phablet line in the past took up a lot of screen real esta...
Do you like really big phones? Then yes! This is the best big phone out there. Do you hate big phones? Then no, of course you shouldnt get it because you will drop it on the ground and cry. Thats pretty much the long and short of it, at least for now. O...
Abstract: The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launches this week for the major wireless carriers in the United States, and that means we get another big helping of a large-screen device that's meant to bridge the gap between smartphones and tablets. Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 f...
Abstract: Samsung has a problem, but the first step on the road to recovery is admitting it. There are a few common themes that characterize all of Samsung's recent flagship devices. They all feature positively gorgeous displays packed into plasticky hardware that ...

A gigantic 5.7-inch, 1080p display, The faux leather and chrome combo makes for a great-looking device, A removable battery and microSD slot, USB 3.0, while clumsy, is great to have when you really want to transfer a huge file, TouchWiz gives you a millio
Disappointing battery life, A Menu button. This hides all the overflow menus you should normally see and is terrible for discoverability, TouchWiz still looks and functions like Android 2.3. You can't horizontally swipe between tabs, there are hidden menu
Abstract: The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the newest phone in the massive (and massively popular) Note lineup, a runaway hit that many doubted would gain any traction in the market. With the huge display comes the S Pen, an active and accurate stylus with some awesome...
