The editors didn't like
It is not 4G and Apple with all their $97 Billion in the bank should have had a little respect for all the devotion that Australian consumers have given them in the past and gone out and delivered a 4G model that actually worked in Country. Samsung and HTC have taken the cost hit
Why not Apple.
Can overheat
Apps take up too much space
No expandable storage
Thicker than iPad 2
Only a minor upgrade over 3rd Gen
Lightning accessories are expensive
Gets warm with regular use
The new iPad is slightly heavier than last year's model
Apps and movies optimized for the screen might take up more space
Chris Parsons (Bla1ze), Editor-at-Large, CrackBerry.comAhh yes, new iPad. I stood in line, patiently waiting for it. Then I got it home, made some sweet technological love to it and then I realized, that while the display is amazing, the extra graphics po...
Eye popping Retina display and super fast LTE make words and pictures pixel perfect, and web pages and videos lightning fast.
If you don't care for Retina or LTE, it's not a compelling upgrade over the iPad 2

Swipe. Tap. Play. Watch. You know how a tablet works. In this case, it's wonderful. iOS 5.1 is incredibly refined and mature. Touch-events are instantaneous, and everything loads with a dual-core spring in its step. The extra RAM keeps even complicated We
Thanks to that bigger battery, the iPad New lasts just as long as the iPad 2—an exactly-as-advertised 10 hours of real-world use and days upon days of standby time. But the differences end when charging time comes around. In our tests, it took up to twice
If you dont have a tablet and you want to buy a tablet, buy this tablet. Its excellent. But unless you are a comic book fanatic or do a ton of reading on your previous-gen Pad, there is no reason to upgrade from an iPad 2. Its simply not that much of...
Abstract: I sent back the iPad 2, but I’m keeping the new iPad. Two years ago I wrote my first iPad skeptic’s review, a more oblique – and personal – opinion on Apple’s tablet than the traditional SlashGear review. A year later I did the same for the iPad 2, fin...
Retina display resolution is unmatched. Great performance. Solid operating system and software ecosystem. 4G support. Same price
The iPad remains a closed device on many levels and that's something you must live with once you enter Apple's world
With the original iPad, many questioned whether there was a place in the market for such a device. Netbooks were surging, notebooks were getting faster and thinner, and smartphones finally reached a point where they were effective mobile Internet tool...
There’s good reason as to why many people regard these two titans as the two best tablets on the market right now. For starters, they are premium in every way, shape, and form – inside and out! Essentially, they epitomize everything that means to be c...
Abstract: The DisplayThe day I received my new iPad, I almost immediately let several non-technical people I know play around with it for a few minutes. I knew what was in store for me, but I wanted to see what a sample of the general public thought of it. For inst...
Abstract: TOOLS YOU CAN USE advertisementApple’s latest tablet, the so-called new iPad, won’t win the company any style points in terms of its name. You would think something such as the iPad 3 would make more sense and cause less confusion, but Apple apparently...
