Apple's new iPad includes a stunning new screen
Matched by a quad-core graphic processor and the world's largest app and media store to feed it content. There's a proper 5-megapixel rear camera now
With 1080p recording quality. Optional 4G data from AT&
Astoundingly clear screen
Dual-channel 3G is faster than you realise
Compatible with quite a few of the iPad 2 cases
Much improved camera
The editors didn't like
It is not 4G and Apple with all their $97 Billion in the bank should have had a little respect for all the devotion that Australian consumers have given them in the past and gone out and delivered a 4G model that actually worked in Country. Samsung and HTC have taken the cost hit
Why not Apple.
Can overheat
Apps take up too much space
No expandable storage
Thicker than iPad 2
Only a minor upgrade over 3rd Gen
Lightning accessories are expensive
Gets warm with regular use
The new iPad is slightly heavier than last year's model
Apps and movies optimized for the screen might take up more space

Abstract: Since its inception, the iPad has long remained at the top of the tablet universe without seeing much threat from the competition. Of course, we can name quite a few devices that were poised to challenge its supremacy, but there has yet to be a legiti...
Jaw-dropping, knee-shaking, better-than-1080p video quality, Still/Video camera greatly improved, Fast 4G LTE data access (optional, requires monthly service)
STILL no Flash video support, Slightly more sluggish power-up/-down than before
Anyone waiting for "The iPad HD" as it was also rumored to be named need wait no longer, as Apple has tendered a high-definition monolith that goes beyond 1080p to bring us unprecedented video quality in a consumer portable media player. With an upgr...

Stunning HD display with nearperfect color accuracy, The fastest and most powerful tablet on the market, Great camera for stills and video, Excellent software
Largest tablet battery but also the biggest power drain and slowest recharge time, No option to view webpages natively, without GPU upscaling
The iPad is an excellent tablet, one I can't recommend enough. I am very seriously considering replacing it with my laptop altogether, although that's a longer discussion for another time. But the power, design, and usability are above and beyond the comp...
Abstract: 659Pros: Good battery life; good number of ports and buttons.Cons: Medium performance; no biometrics. We liked that the ThinkPad had 64G of hard drive space. Its 1G of memory was the average amount for those we looked at this time around, so that is ...

There is no doubt in my mind which tablet is better among these competitors. Apple's iPad 3 is more attractive, a bit easier to handle, offers a significantly superior display and far better battery endurance. Using the iPad 3 is simply more enjoyable for...

Abstract: Our review for the iPad 3/new iPad may come a bit late, after all the major tech sites already covered the fresh product, but there's a good side to being late: you get to clear your head and check out the facts. For starters, yes the tablet is overheatin...
