Apple's new iPad includes a stunning new screen
Matched by a quad-core graphic processor and the world's largest app and media store to feed it content. There's a proper 5-megapixel rear camera now
With 1080p recording quality. Optional 4G data from AT&
Astoundingly clear screen
Dual-channel 3G is faster than you realise

Much improved camera
The editors didn't like
It is not 4G and Apple with all their $97 Billion in the bank should have had a little respect for all the devotion that Australian consumers have given them in the past and gone out and delivered a 4G model that actually worked in Country. Samsung and HTC have taken the cost hit
Why not Apple.
Can overheat
Apps take up too much space
No expandable storage
Thicker than iPad 2
Only a minor upgrade over 3rd Gen
Lightning accessories are expensive
Gets warm with regular use
The new iPad is slightly heavier than last year's model
Apps and movies optimized for the screen might take up more space

Abstract: Here it is, the new iPad. After much hype about the new Apple product, we're here to go over just how this hunk of metal and plastic fared in our labs. While the screen is certainly the best we've ever seen, the battery isn't, and it lacks the type of per...

Now that we've finished testing the 3rd gen. iPad, what we've seen so far is very impressive. Its screen is amazing for a tablet, it has the same established operating system that other iOS devices have, and it doesn't try to re-invent the wheel. Many of t...
Abstract: If you're following us on Twitter , you'll know we went Apple crazy this morning it's the launch of the iPad. Personally I am incredibly tired having been up for most of the night receiving reports from our trusted band of tipsters.Around 9am this morning...
Truly stunning screen, exceptionally user-friendly, excellent audio, unbeatable selection of apps, movies and music, flawless build quality
A touch heavier and thicker than iPad 2, charging takes ages, more internal storage would be nice
So, with our biggest complaint being that we'd really like more space to store more things on it, it's clear that we're rather enamoured with Apple's latest tech-rectangle. It's as easy to use as ever, it still has the biggest music, movie and app stores...
Of course, it's the best iPad so far, but what makes it stand out is the stunning screen - matched by an improved graphics processor that keeps it looking good....
Retina display, much better camera, same price structure as previous generation
4G features not available in UK
The new iPad is just that: The iPad, updated for a new year and millions of new iPad users. It's not smaller or lighter, but it's got a remarkable screen, a much better rear camera, and support for cellular networking that can run at Wi-Fi speeds. It's th...
Amazing, stunning screen, Powerful graphics, Good battery life, Excellent build quality, Good value
Poor connectivity, Annoying artificial limitations, Need iTunes to get content on it, No expandable memory, Thicker and heavier than most premium tablets
There's no denying that the Apple new iPad is a stylish, desirable tablet, and its Retina Display is simply stunning. It also packs plenty of power under the hood thanks to its A5X SoC, combining a dual-core processor with quad-core graphics – all without...
