The editors liked
This is a classic Apple piece of work
Sleek smart and highly practicle. It hits all the right buttons which is what Apple is famous for.
Superb screen
Slick gaming
Simple interface
4G capable in Australia
Improved front-facing camera
Quality app ecosystem
Apple's new iPad includes a stunning new screen
Matched by a quad-core graphic processor and the world's largest app and media store to feed it content. There's a proper 5-megapixel rear camera now
With 1080p recording quality. Optional 4G data from AT&
Astoundingly clear screen
Dual-channel 3G is faster than you realise
Compatible with quite a few of the iPad 2 cases
Much improved camera
The editors didn't like
It is not 4G and Apple with all their $97 Billion in the bank should have had a little respect for all the devotion that Australian consumers have given them in the past and gone out and delivered a 4G model that actually worked in Country. Samsung and HTC have taken the cost hit
Why not Apple.
Can overheat
Apps take up too much space
No expandable storage
Thicker than iPad 2
Only a minor upgrade over 3rd Gen
Lightning accessories are expensive
Gets warm with regular use
The new iPad is slightly heavier than last year's model
Apps and movies optimized for the screen might take up more space
Abstract: We're back with a more comprehensive review of Apple's new iPad 3, including new gamut benchmarks pitting the iPad 3 against an array of recent Android-based tablets. Is Apple's latest offering a disappointment to those expecting more—or a game-changer...
Amazing screen, Great 3D graphics, Good Battery Life, Rearfacing camera improved drastically, Fast WiFi speeds,
No FaceTime HD support, Frontfacing camera still below average, Heavier and thicker than the iPad 2, Battery takes a long time to charge
There's no doubt this is the best iPad to date, but the user who will get the most out of it is one who intends to use it mostly for reading, viewing and perhaps editing videos and photos, gaming where graphics are key (i.e. fantasy epics and first-per...
Abstract: The new iPad has been with us for a few weeks now and we thought it time to take a look at the iPad in comparison with a few other devices. The first of our videos is apple's new iPad vs Asus Transformer Prime.Let us know which you prefer over the two....
Abstract: For one reason or another, I've never had so many people ask me if a new Apple device is worth the purchase. My answer is, generally, the same; “Yes, it's worth it…unless you're already happy with what you've got.” That sounds like a cop-out, but it's re...

Abstract: So just how good is The New iPad's camera running at the full 1080p ?There has been a lot of talk about the new 5pm camera on the back of the new beast, but does it stack up well up to other devices, its time to see how the new optics perform.[vsw id="uoq...
Great quality, highresolution screen; long battery life,
Relatively heavy,
Aside from the extra weight, the new iPad is better than ever. Apple's design choices won't suit everyone, but for most the new iPad's quality screen, battery life and app selection make it the best general purpose tablet available ...
Fantastic Retina display, excellent 3G internet speeds (even without 4G), 10 hour battery life, still one of the most beautiful and functional devices on the market
Takes longer to charge up, no 4G network in the UK
We love the new iPad, and would definitely buy a newer model for the Retina display. Which one you want depends on your needs, but the 32GB WiFi only model is a good all-round purchase. Only upgrade to the 4G model if you really intend to use the mobile i...
The iPad remains my favourite tablet. I prefer the screen size and aspect ratio; it delivers the right performance and functionality for what I want a fondleslab to do; USB – without the need for an adapter – would be nice, but otherwise it has the c...
Supersharp screen makes viewing games, films, photos and the net vastly improved; improved snapper; wonderful software and hardware design; a choice of 200,000 apps optimised for iPad
Not much storage included; frontfacing VGA snapper
Third time lucky – the New iPad is the best of the lot – with a wonderfully sharp Retina display and HD snapper...
