The editors didn't like
It is not 4G and Apple with all their $97 Billion in the bank should have had a little respect for all the devotion that Australian consumers have given them in the past and gone out and delivered a 4G model that actually worked in Country. Samsung and HTC have taken the cost hit
Why not Apple.
Can overheat
Apps take up too much space
No expandable storage
Thicker than iPad 2
Only a minor upgrade over 3rd Gen
Lightning accessories are expensive
Gets warm with regular use
The new iPad is slightly heavier than last year's model
Apps and movies optimized for the screen might take up more space

I have to be honest here, in that as I said earlier it is some 3-4 months since I have owned the iPad 2. In using the new iPad I can find no excessive speed increase or improvements in the display despite the advertised improvements and capabilities.Howev...

Despite the above negative points, there's no doubt we're still looking at a top contender in the tablet race once again. Apple's greatest strength has always been fusing together some headline features with an OS that just works, and will appeal to the l...
Abstract: The new iPad comes with some pretty nifty hardware updates, including a better camera, incredibly sharp screen, a more powerful processor and some small fixes here and there. It's also 4G ready, for faster mobile internet - when 4G eventually takes off in...
If you want a large-screen tablet, the new iPad is the one to buy. While the 16GB iPad 2 costs £70 less, you're likely to be staring at this thing for a couple of years. The smooth, ultra-clear images on the new Retina display are more than worth the dif...
