Disappointing picture, Poor audio quality
Older-generation player consistently displays overly bright images; has on-board decoding of lossless audio codecs, but its audio sounds less full than that of other models.
Relatively inexpensive. MP3/JPEG playback from recordable DVD. Support for bitstream audio output (HDMI). Decodes Dolby TrueHD. Online firmware updates.
Sluggish disc load times.
