Supports 2,048 levels of pen sensitivity, starting with a single gram of pressure. ExpressKeys now have OLED-illuminated labels. User can customize Touch Ring for incremental tasks. Sleek, all-black styling. Simple-to-switch ambidextrous design.
Pressure, tilt, and eraser capabilities work only within compatible apps. Too easy to inadvertently press the pens DuoSwitch. Pen grip tends to pick up dust, lint.
The Wacom Intuos4 substantially improves pressure sensitivity over its predecessor and offers just the right combination of price and features for a wide audience....

Schmutz very visible on black pen grip; buttons could use a bit more tactile differentiation; mouse still a bit awkward; still pricey; need more real-time feedback when configuring; glossy plastic panel shows fingerprints.
With a beautiful and more functional new design, Wacoms Intuos4 tablet demonstrates that a lack of competition doesnt necessarily keep you from innovating.
