  • USB, RCA, and 3.5mm inputs pull audio from just about anything. Durable carbonfiber speaker cones. Rubberized storage tray keeps gadgets secure. Integrated guitar input
  • Mobility costs 12 Dcell batteries, pushing the weight up to a Lloyd Doblercrushing 30 pounds. Lowrent antenna and lack of wireless functionality are unacceptable at this price

  • So is it worth the money? If you plan on using USB media with it, I can’t recommend it. If this USB issue weren’t present, this would make a great sound system for a music-orientated small household or shared area where people are always plugging in t...

  • Visually striking design, Serious bass at high volumes, Can be used as an amp for instruments, AM/FM radio, It goes to 11 (really),
  • Distortion issues at random volumes, Portable, but only if you want to haul 26 pounds and feed the Boombox 12 (!) D batteries,
  • There's no denying the massive TDK 3 Speaker Boombox looks good—and it often sounds very good, too—but it isn't without issues, and at 26 pounds, it's not all that portable. ...

  • The TDK Three Speaker Boombox delivers a finely tuned, powerful sound in a portable system with an unforgettable design. Features such as AM/FM radio, as well as RCA and instrument input, set it apart from the competition
  • There's no way to secure your iPod/iPhone or other connected device, support for Bluetooth is absent, radio antennas are handled by two dangling wires, no remote, hefty weight and battery-hungry design make portability impractical
  • TDK's Three Speaker Boombox is as beautiful as it is powerful, but the hefty design does not travel well.

  • The styling is retro but the materials are modern with touch-sensitive buttons supplementing the two LED infused dials. There is even a small LED control panel and 5-preset AM/FM radio for when your own music isn’t enough. Music wise, the TDK 3 Speaker Boombox has a 6-inch subwoofer and two 6-inch coaxial drivers there is enough power to deliver 35 Watts of sound. Inputs can be found on the side
  • We’re not too impressed with the lack of covers for the speakers, either, so you really won’t want to take it outside. That said, it has the most ludicrous carrying handle of any speaker system ever but the TDK 3 Speaker Boombox is intended to be carried around. Only, get yourself a back brace or move it around on your skateboard, as this beast is amazingly heavy.
  • If they remade ‘The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air’ Will Smith would say ‘smell you later’ to the cab driver with the TDK 3 Speaker Boombox on his shoulder (or more than likely held by two of his minders). With plenty of boom to shake, shake the room, this i...
