The editors liked
We found auto focus to be lightning fast and the touchfocusshoot touch screen to work as well as on the Panasonics. The electronic viewfinder is a revelation — these things don't have to be useless toys.
The Olympus PEN E-P3 is an attractively designed camera that's now one of the fastest in its class
Top image quality in its range
Stylish design on a strong body
Lightweight lenses
Image quality
Build quality
Fun factor
Solid construction
Built-in flash
Quick touchscreen focus and firing
Vibrant and responsive OLED touchscreen
Lots of shooting options
The editors didn't like
The 40–150mm lens — sold in the two lens $1200 kit — is rough and sticky
Poor video quality and suboptimal default image settings aren't that great
So you really need to shoot raw to get good results at midrange to high ISO sensitivities

For the M Zuiko 12mm f/2.0 lens the price tag of Rs. 44,995 is more than the cost of an EP3. But then, wide angle prime lenses are costly. Quality wise, it is a brilliant lens and one will find very little to complain about. The lens is great for stre...
Abstract: Of course the Olympus PEN E-P3 isn't an SLR. We all know that but we have to call it something. This third evolution of the interchangeable lens compact camera (see, micro-SLR is neater isn't it?) has almost nailed the concept. Not quite, but it's not far...
The PEN E-P3 sells at a maximum retail price of Rs. 39,999 for a single lens kit (14-42mm) and a maximum retail price of Rs. 46,999 for a dual lens (14-42mm lens and 40-150mm). While this may be a step up from point and shoot cameras, the PEN E-P3 has ...

Very fast AF; improved ISO performance; better sharpness; improved handling; 1080p 60i movie recording; built-in flash.
Touch to focus not available during video recording.
When a company goes to such lengths to improve its flagship Micro Four Thirds model, there's only one thing to say - the E-P3 is an excellent camera. The E-P3 is properly fast in response time and will focus and shoot as fast as any DSLR out there. Ha...
