  • 512MB external memory plus 256MB internal flash, Small size, Excellent maps
  • Lacks Bluetooth, No texttospeech function, Slow routecalculation
  • Nokia has made a decent first attempt at offering a personal navigation device but the product is marred by the lack of Bluetooth, and is outdone by its better equipped and similarly priced rivals.

  • The 330 Auto Navigation is Nokias first stand-alone GPS. The result is a solid, but not outstanding unit that is let down by an impractical address search method.

  • Inexpensive, clear speaking voice for instructions.
  • Poor synchronisation, bad mounting arm, terrible screen.
  • While theres little that the 330 does badly in terms of basic navigation, theres also not a whole lot that makes it stand out in the crowded GPS space. The same amount of money can get you a whole lot more GPS, and cheaper GPS units offer the same fe...

  • The Nokia 330 Auto Navigation features a compact design and bright touch screen. The system offers text- and voice-guided directions and some multimedia extras.
  • The voice-guided directions arent as precise as competing products, and the map interface can be a bit confusing. The system also doesnt support text-to-speech functionality.
  • Debuting as the companys first in-car GPS device, the Nokia 330 Auto Navigation system is just average and lags behind the competition in terms of voice directions and ease of use.

  • Abstract:  I’m a big Nokia fan. Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Siemens, are all fine; but for me, a mobile phone isn’t a true mobile phone until it carries the Nokia logo. It seems I’m not the only one with that opinion either; with a market share of more t...
