Great read/write speeds; supports RAID 0, 1, 5; drives are hot-swappable; comes with backup software; includes print, DHCP, and file servers; compatible with UPnP media devices; generous warranty.
Its pricey.
The Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ offers a lot in the way of features and performance, which is good, because its expensive.
