  • Slightly faster than smaller capacity MX300
  • None!
  • After already reviewing the 750GB Edition of the MX300 SSD we had first-hand experience with Micron's own rendition with 3D NAND. Overall, we were pleased with the transfer rates and performance from Crucial's MX300, but what about the sizable 2TB edition...

  • Huge capacity, Data security
  • Not cheap, Warranty is only 3 years
  • It's good to see that Micron have got their 3D TLC NAND production up to a level where the MX300 is now a fully-fledged product line rather than a single isolated Special Edition drive. The flagship 2TB drive is another indicator, should anybody still nee...

  • Steady performance across all scenarios, Up to 1TB capacity in M.2 2280 form factor, Low price, Momentum Cache function, Bundled with Cloning Software, Features everything from DevSleep to power loss protection,
  • none, “Crucial’s MX300 M.2 2280 525GB SSD is an impressive drive for its price. You get a full set of features, high capacity, and a steady performance.”, Crucial MX300 M.2 525GB SSD Review, Thank You, Crucial,  for providing us with this sample,
  • Crucial once again convinced me with one of their SSDs. The M.2 version of the MX300 solid state drive performed just as well as the 2.5-inch counterparts. We saw an SSD that performed consistently across all fillage scenarios, file type, benchmark type...

  • I was already quite impressed with the Crucial MX300 when I had a look at the 750GB model at release time and that hasn't changed one bit through the look at the 2TB model today. It is an awesome drive the combines the best of two worlds into one drive -...

  • Acceptable mainstream performance, Low power / Great battery life in notebooks, Low cost, Decent capacity scaling (2TB Coming Soon)
  • No 4TB option, Not as low cost as we want, 4Channels doesn't deliver high random performance at low queue depths
  • The MX300 series has matured well in its limited time on the market. I would consider this series retail ready, unlike the early 750GB we tested with initial release firmware. In time, it will only get better. Crucial plans to release a new 2TB model...
