  • Abstract:  Just as Canon’s compacts have brought simplicity and ease of use to the consumer, so has its Selphy printer range. The dye-sub CP760 fits both of these criteria, with a 2.5in LCD screen and large rubber buttons to make printing a doddle. Three card slo...

  • Fast. Generally high photo quality. Low initial cost and reasonably low running costs.
  • Colors in some photos are a little too punchy. Straight lines—the spokes of a wheel, for one—can look ragged.
  • The Canon Selphy CP760 melds a low price and a reasonably low cost per page with more than acceptable speed, output quality, and convenience....

  • Easy to use, Portable, Great prints
  • Small footprint is not all that small, Prints photos in one size only (4x6)
  • A fun little printer that prints out high-quality photos pretty quickly, the new Selphy CP760 will be a welcome addition to any gathering where digital photos need to be printed out. The dye-sublimation ink looks great and, though the printers footpri...

  • Abstract:  The dye sublimation technology Canon uses in its Selphy range of printers is now mature, so to keep sales buoyant the company has to update other aspects of its dedicated photo devices. The Selphy CP760 is close to the entry-level device in Canon's new ra...

  • Rapid prints; excellent photo quality; simple design; inexpensive.
  • Large footprint (including paper path) for a "compact" printer; wireless accessories not included; no index view.
  • The Canon Selphy CP760 takes the pain out of printing photos with its plug-and-play design and straightforward usability, and the $100 price tag makes it an excellent companion printer for quick prints in the home.

  • Abstract:  Dedicated photo printers, designed to produce 6 x 4in photos from a PictBridge camera, memory card or via USB from your Mac, are thick on the ground, but nearly all of them are inkjet-based. While theres nothing wrong with an inkjet print, it can be s...

  Published: 2008-06-01, review by: expertreviews.co.uk

  • Abstract:  Canons Selphy CP760 is a mini dye-sublimation photo printer. A sheet of photo paper is drawn into the printer while a sheet of solid ink of the same size is rapidly heated, instantly becoming a gas before settling and solidifying on the page. The p...

  • PictBridge, connection options, print quality with some exceptions, simplicity
  • Screen quality poor, only get five prints in box, colour bleed, prints a little dark
  • Some quality issues, but otherwise this is a competent little photo printer that is simple to use with plenty of connection options

  • Excellent print quality, Fast, Compact, Reasonable cost per print, Memory slots.
  • Large power adapter, Large footprint while printing, Screen could have been better.
  • Talk about ultra-portability - the Canon SELPHY CP760 is a white tiffin box-size photo printer. It is probably meant to go well with a Macintosh, which is popularly associated with photo studio work. Based on dye-sublimation technology, it has a 2.5...
