  • Gauging the performance of the Alienware M11x was always going to be an interesting process. In the end we chose to compare against itself, running all our tests in both dedicated (orange) and integrated graphics (dark grey) modes where possible, and agai...

  • Unrivaled portable gaming performance and a brilliant screen
  • Builtin battery means gaming performance can be cut short prematurely
  • The low screen resolution helps, but the M11x can still power through even brand new games...

  • The Dell Alienware M11x is certainly heavy for an ultraportable laptop. It's thicker than many of its contemporaries, too. As a gaming laptop, it's downright svelte. Even 13- or 15-inch models that offer this kind of performance typically weigh more, ...

  • Blisteringly quick; good battery life; backlit keyboard allows for gaming in a darkened room
  • No optical drive
  • The Alienware M11x is small enough to go anywhere that an ordinary netbook can, yet it's fast enough to outgun its larger rivals. If you want a relatively petite machine that does it all, you really need look no further ...

  • Abstract:  Since acquiring Alienware in 2006, Dell has gone about rejuvenating the company’s line of laptops, and we’ve been very impressed by the results: the powerful M15x and M17x. The company has now made the bold step of producing an 11.6-inch gaming laptop...

  • Like the M15x and M17x before it the M11x begins to impress as soon as it is removed from the packaging. The overall design of the chassis is good, drawing great attention wherever the laptop is being used and the finish is perfect throughout. Alienwa...

  • Light on weight, with a funky design and a relatively clean Windows install.
  • Location of input/output ports causes space issues. Reflective display can be hard to view. No webcam. For an expensive device marketed at gamers, it's not particularly powerful.
