  • Over all this is a nice case. There is plenty of room to work, and it has some nice features. Though the power bar is a cool feature I think there are some revisions that could be made to make it more compatible with the majority of power supplies out ...

  • Unique Power Distribution, Built in Cable Management, Castors, Removable Motherboard Tray, Sleek Design, Exceptional Cooling, Quiet Stock Fans, Spacious Interior
  • Dated Front Bezel, Overly Simplified Manual, Lack of top venting, Lack of toolfree drive options, Unlabeled accessories bags, Exposed Reset Switch, Motherboard Tray Does Not Slide Out Smoothly
  • Packaging for Ultras m998 is outstanding: A clearly labeled box that lists all the vital information, many clear images of the case from different angles, and protection from double foam inserts, a poly bag, and scratch guards for the window, all ensu...

  • Abstract:  Ultra Products certainly has moved up from its roots as a retail brand by which its parent company once sold unbranded parts. Now, high-end parts such as its X3 power supplies can now be found at a large number of enthusiast venders. Now that the company...

  • Nifty power bar; frontpanel eSATA; nice motherboard tray . . .
  • but the power bar and motherboard tray aren't labelled and the eSATA connector isn't, well, connected. And screwless? Ultra's never heard the term.

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Ultra m998 Case is definitely one of a kind. It's only a mid-tower case so there isn't much room to work on the inside, but the motherboard tray is removable. They include two 120mm fans which provides excellent air circulation. It has plenty of drive bays, removable HDD cages, front ports, a window and so much more. If that's not enough, it has uniquely designed Power Bar that's located on the motherboard tray. Its main purpose it to eliminate cable clutter inside the case by giving easy access to the 4-pin peripheral and 8-pin PCI-E leads. To top it off, it's all aluminum. This is one of the most feature rich cases on the planet! Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

  • Unique power bar reduces cable mess, Caster wheels improves mobility, Professional appearance, Front eSATA port
  • Must use screwdrivers to remove motherboard tray screws inside the case, eliminating point of using thumbscrews on the outside, Hard drive cage screw holes didnt match either of my hard drives holes, Nothing special about the case beyond the power bar a...
  • I think this case is best suited for a business server that is visible to customers. Theres more than enough cooling to extend the life of the parts within, and the caster wheels would aide in moving the computer. A high-end graphics designer with mu...

  • Very spacious, Design is well thoughtout (for example, the front PCI bracket I/O connectors), Solid build quality
  • Power Bar is not as useful as it is hyped up to be
  • Ive had the pleasure of working with several cases and the Ultra m998 easily tops the list as one of the best. In terms of build quality, the m998 excels with its brushed aluminum finish and steel reinforced structure. Ultra has really put a lot of th...
