  • The Core P5's flexible modular design allows for horizontal and vertical builds. Its open air design and broad liquid cooling support will give you a handle on heat, and it costs less than half the Lian Li PCO7S.
  • Liquid cooling seems necessary for the aesthetics alone and that's not cheap. Hard to reach the rear CPU cutout. Made of steel instead of aluminum with a plastic window instead of glass, but at least it's thick.

  • Abstract:  On October 1st, Thermaltake introduced the newest addition to its Core lineup of desktop PC chassis: The Core P5 . Actually, referring to the Core P5 as a “desktop” chassis is something of a misnomer; although you certainly can put a P5-contained system o...

  • Extremely unique case, Can be used to display your hardware, Can be wall-mounted, Can fit a lot of hardware and watercooling
  • Installation instructions could be a lot better, Does not support most AiO coolers
  • The Core P5 is quite flexible and can hold a lot of hardware. You have room for motherboards up to ATX, long graphics card, at least 4 hard drives, a ton of watercooling and more! This really is a builders case and gives you a lot of different options whe...

  • Seriously? I don't know, it's not like I can suggest a £160 massive chassis to your everyday consumer. Really, I doubt many people will buy one as it's such a niche part of the market. However, for modders wanting to show off their work, or have something...

  • Great build quality, Fantastic way to show off your hardware, Impressive water cooling support, Rock solid build quality, Room for huge graphics cards,
  • Cable routing holes are tricky to use due to hard drive bays, Super long PSU cables ideally needed, Can be tricky to wall mount or find room for display in general, Open design is prone to dust and debris, Neutral, It’s wildly impractical for most builds,
  • PricingIf I had to guess the price of the Thermaltake Core P5, I would have gone for over £200, just because it's quite specialist, obviously not targeted at the wider system building audience, and I would have been completely wrong. The Core P5 is a much...

  • If you're wondering about our scores, as this is an open air case with little of any airflow design, testing it and applying a cooling score is rather pointless in the same way applying a cooling score to a test bench would be. Therefore, we've ditched th...
