At ~$99 USD, the SteelSeries SteelSound 5H v2 is a high-quality and solid performing gaming headset that should satisfy the most discriminating gamers yet also please those looking for a decent set of headphones. The headset is comfortable to wear for ...
SteelSeries felt they needed to prove themselves with this headset after the problems they incurred with the first version. After going back to the drawing board, they improved and built upon every aspect of the 5H. They came away with a truly great p...
This is a solid gaming headset that's stylish and well designed. The only downside would have to be the price. At £47.00, there's a lot of competition from some well respected brands in this area. That said, if you're looking for a headset to give you an ...

Incredibly immersive, Good, solid build quality, Nice looking, Included 3.5mm extension cable is rather useful, Retractable microphone helps to reduce clutter
not 5.1?, errrm...the wife might not understand?
Needless to say - I really like the SteelSeries 5H V2, and am becoming very fond of the company itself. It is very clear that they put a lot of effort into researching and designing their gaming gear. I found this headset to give quite a good direction...
Comfort, Retractable microphone, USB Virtual 7.1 Sound, The ability to be disassembled for transporting to and from LAN events, SteelSeries branding.
Price premium for USB.
Overall, the SteelSeries 5H-V2 USB Gaming Headset is a excellent bit of kit, but it does have it's drawbacks, most notably, the hefty price tag of £70. The 7.1 USB system works well enough, but is reliant on the software made available from C-Me...
The Steelseries 5H v2 is a very good headset for First Person Shooters. This is also what it has been developed for in cooperation with professional gamers. In this discipline it shines with a very cristal clear effect quality and you therefore always ...
