  • Abstract:  Sony’s new HDR-AS15 and HDR-AS10 action cams are shipping and production models are in the wild now. I’ve had a little time this evening the check out the HDR-AS15 and have to say that it’s a slick little camera that should give GoPro and Contour some...

  • Light, compact, Easy to use, Image quality in low lighting, Slow motion in 720p / 120 fps, Audio in, microUSB, WiFi for remote control and viewing
  • Design needs work (waterproof case blocks access to the buttons and connectivity), No 1080p 60 / 50p mode, No tripod screw on camera, Short battery life
  • Sony came late onto the action cam scene, and it needed to strike hard. The HDR-AS15 certainly has some great features (slow motion, Wi-Fi...), but the image quality is disappointing, the battery life is low and there are issues with the design. Sony coul...

  • The Action Cam HDR-AS15 was built on some great ideas—the WiFi functions work well, the slow motion options are easy to use and churn out decent videos, and the on-board menu system makes sense. The provided waterproof case and couple of adhesive mounts m...

  • the Sony Action Cam is a marvellous little tool for capturing extreme sports and other action video. Our only complaints would be the obscurity of the menu system, and the fact that only the record button can be accessed through the waterproof housing...

  • Maybe. The Sony produces pretty decent images at a nice price, and it has that neat 720p/120fps trick. But hold off for now.The Contour+2 is a better camera, but its also $130 more expensive, and its a lot bulkier. At the same time, GoPro just unveiled...
