The RX100MKIII is a considerable improvement on the already great previous models. Image quality remains the class leader with RAW output producing exceptional photo quality. High ISO settings can be used without noise being an issue.
A great electronic viewfinder that doesn't increase the size of the svelte Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III is one of the camera's highlights. Plus it offers excellent performance
Photo and video quality
Good sensor captures plenty of detail
Built-in EVF and flash
Hinged screen
Excellent and fast 24600mm lens
Superb stills and video quality
High quality EVF and tilting LCD screen
Excellent high ISO performance
The editors didn't like
Screen not touchsensitive
Reduced zoom range
VERDICT
This camera has been designed by photographers and engineers and not by the marketing department. The short zoom will be offputting for nondiscerning customers
But those who know about these things see a lens that has the same focal length range
The price is high for a compact
Even one as good as this. There are compact system cameras that cost less and have the versatility of interchangeable lenses. The Australian price is much higher than US street prices
The camera shuts down when you retract the viewfinder
The RX100 III is one of the best point-and-shoots money can buy, with its good image quality, solid build quality and compact size, and excellent blend of beginner and advanced features. In fact, it probably has the best image performance for a point-and-...

about it:
Four months into 2015, I still wouldn't give up this camera for any other in the market, because even for its price of Php44,990 (lower for cash purchases and in other retailers), there is just no camera that's near as good as this one that can fit in you...
Large sensor results in good image quality, Sharp and responsive EVF, Builtin ND filter, Good video features, Bright lens
Autofocus slows down in low light, Smooth camera surface doesn't help in handling, Overzealous sharpening and noise reduction, Expensive
