  • The low price of this lens makes it a standout. The fast, quiet autofocus and the smooth manual focus are a joy to use. Construction quality is good, including a metal mount.

  • For anyone wanting a moderately wide-angle lens for occasional use, the Sigma fits the bill. For more than twice the money you could buy the Olympus m.Zuiko 17mm f1.8 and you would get a better-made, optically superior unit, but you might not take photos ...
