  • Fast, light and reasonably compact,
  • Software is a bit of a letdown, downloaded images are too small
  • If you want a USB 3 hard drive that performs well, is nice and light and stylish and has reasonable capacity, then this is the drive. While we like the cloud backup and download, we don't think Seagate has built its software well enough...

  • Seagate has two capacities for the Indian market – 500GB priced at Rs 5,600 and 1TB priced at Rs 7,700. It's expensive by a few hundred rupees than portable USB 3.0 hard drive by other brands, but the premium is quite justified by the useful backup softw...

  • Multiple Interface Support, Dashboard 2.0 Software
  • Limited Social Network support
  • Seagate Backup Plus may seem another run-of-the-mill external hard drive but it's the software that shows the drive's true worth. Seagate Dashboard 2.0 is a nifty app and if you consider your content on the social network ‘save-worthy', the combo of the s...

  • The Seagate Backup Plus Portable is a hefty drive, not just in terms of storage space, but really the amount of connectivity options and backup features that come with it. USB 3.0, FireWire and Thunderbolt support is great to have, while the social netwo...
