The editors didn't like

  • Poor screen resolution
  • Plasticy
  • Cheap feel to the build quality
  • Placement of volume rocker and headphone jack
  • Widgets like S-Planner are not resizeable
  • Lack of handwriting input outside of S-Apps
  • Multi-tasking not a smooth or fluid process
  • Bland design with average build
  • Sluggish performance at times
  • Screen resolution could be higher
  • The price is far too high for only 16GB of native storage
  • And the build quality feels weaker and inelegant when you compare it with even lower-priced tablets
  • Only average battery life. Screen is OK
  • But far from best in class. S Pen is not nearly as useful as it could be. Comparably expensive
  • No headphone jack

  • Abstract:  The web browser on Android has always been excellent and the Ice Cream Sandwich version is no exception. On the revamped Galaxy Note 10.1, the web browser UI has been altered to fit the overall design language and resembles Google Chrome, but that's o...

  • Overall great experience, TouchWiz is a good skin, Expandable memory, Dual-core processor, Good build
  • Bad viewing angles, Too big to be used as a phone, No plug and transfer feature for Mac
  • The Apple iPad defined the tablet genre. It wasn't the first device in this category, but it was one that nailed it right. The third generation iPad is now considered as a benchmark for what the tablet should be like. Till date, if there was one Androi...

  • Yes, it's a grand idea, and not something they may have achieved with flying colours, but Samsung's GALAXY Note 10.1 puts the S Pen to the stars and lets you sketch all over its fast performance and neat Multiscreen feature.(previously published in issue ...

  • S Pen genuinely useful for creative-types, Clever features like Multiscreen and IR, Essentially a supersized Galaxy phone
  • Underwhelming screen, Creaky plastic
  • If you love the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note smartphones but hanker after a bigger screen, this is it. But though there's lots to love, we found ourselves already wishing for the Note 2 10.1 (or another such unwieldy Samsung moniker) – if this tablet were a ...
