The strong metal body. Jpegs from the camera lack zap — something fixed with the custom style setting. RAW capture produces noticeably better pictures than jpeg. It is worth the effort.

The editors didn't like
The time taken to process images is intolerably long and results in locking up certain functions. It is frustrating to see the word “Processing” on the screen and not be able to make control adjustments. Aggressive noise reduction at low ISO can't be turn
No in-body stabilisation
No dedicated video button
$799 (18-55mm lens)
For its price
The NX200 feels light on important features
It lacks an option for a viewfinder
And it cries out for an articulated LCD. And while its shooting performance is fine
In-camera operations like playback and changing settings can get held up
Short battery life
Occasional slight inaccuracies with WB and metering
Slower performance in low light and when shooting raw files
No viewfinder option
No viewfinder option or accessory port. No image stabilisation in 20-50mm kit lens. High ISO images are very noisy
Low ISO image quality, hotshoe, manual movie control, OLED screen, huge improvement over NX100
Poor battery life, absurdly slow RAW processing times, issues with low light focusing, colour noise in shots above ISO 1600
The NX200 delivers exceptional image quality at the low ISO settings despite its high resolution. The camera is a massive step forward from the NX100 and the latest design is both intuitive and easy to use. However battery life, RAW processing and low ...

A couple of years ago, I never would have recommended a Samsung camera to a person who was serious about photography, but things have changed. The NX200 is proof that Samsung is getting serious about photography and they have really stepped up their game ...

High 20.3MP resolution, iFn lenses allow for controlling some functions, Numerous specialeffects options
Does not accept optional EVF, Zoom lenses are not very compact
While it's not the ideal choice for frequent high-ISO shooting, the NX200 provides very high resolution, great speed and many capabilities. Its numerous options for special effects are ideal for creative shooters and scrapbookers. The combination of an...
Abstract: Samsung 's previous NX series models have been chunkier and heavier than models from the likes of Sony and Panasonic , but the new NX200 changes that – at least a little bit. While its still a touch heftier than its competitors the Panasonic GX1 and Sony N...
New image sensor performs better at high ISOs than its NX100 predecessor; fun in-camera filters; pleasing color rendition in stills and videos.
Camera body less than ergonomic; i-Function feature tedious to use without inbuilt viewfinder.
We think the NX200 is a capable interchangeable lens camera for the compact upgrader. It is packed with useful features, a large image sensor and a good range of lenses. ...

Abstract: Great body, kinda sharp though Design-wise, the NX200 manages to captivate with its smooth curves and well-placed grip design. The body is actually slightly lighter than the bundled 18-55mm OIS lens, which also helps when taking photos as the weight is ni...
For low light situations, the NX200 is capable of going up to a very impressive ISO 12800. The shots taken at that sensitivity were very noisy, but we weren't expecting to get good shots anyway. A step lower, at ISO 6400, turned up dramatically better - a...
