The editors liked

  • Excellent
  • Precise movement. Despite seeming a bit goofy
  • The voice alerts are actually quite clever. Weight system is improved from the Kone. Shift button gives great flexibility

The editors didn't like

  • Buttons above and below scroll wheel are awkward. Weights system still fiddly

  • Scroll wheel bug, Takes 28 seconds to apply settings, Too light without supplied weights, Drivers not included Must be downloaded from Roccat website, Macro creation is over complicated

  • The Kone+ is keenly priced given its epic list of tweaks and customisation options. However, you should consider how you hold your mouse and how much finger support you need before buying it, as we found the lack of support for our ring finger and little...

  • Tracking, Weight system
  • Shape/size, Quality of the surface finishing
  • The Roccat Kone+ is an updated version of the original Kone, so it already has made a name for itself on the market. The upgrade brings the model back to the top of the game, with its 6000 DPI sensor and some other tweaks. In use the mouse is just as ...

  • Handling, ergonomics, Excellent movement, Comprehensive software, Accurate sensor, Buttons for adjusting the sensor's resolution on the fly, EasyShift[] for assigning two functions to the same button
  • CPUintensive when the sensor is set to 1000 Hz, One of the buttons (in front) isn't intuitive to reach
  • On top of being fast and precise, the Kone[+] is very comfortable in the hand (as long as you're right-handed), glides smoothly across the table, has a very comprehensive driver and top-notch ergonomics. The only thing that might not please everyone is th...
