  • The Pentax K10D is unique. Its easily Pentaxs most capable SLR yet. But its not for everyone. Tuned for the advanced photographer, or anyone wanting to discover Photographys basics, the K10D has no true "easy" mode. You have to understand...

  • Built-in Shake Reduction system, Dust and weather-resistant seals, Unique shooting modes and RAW options, Switches for metering and focus areas
  • Default JPEG settings lack impact, Basic metering and tendency to underexpose, No dedicated buttons for ISO or WB, Tough rivals like the Nikon D80 and Canon 30D
  • One thing should be clear from our comments so far: the K10D is not the greatest performer using its default settings. If you want a camera that takes great-looking JPEGs straight out the box, then look elsewhere. Shooting alongside the K10D with a Ni...

  • Solid buildquality with dust/weather/moisture seals, excellent image quality, digital and analog depth of field preview, Image stabilization with every lens, and automatic dust reduction/removal system,
  • Battery life is a bit below average,
  • Canon and Nikon currently dominate the semi-pro dSLR market, but all any camera maker has to do to unseat the sales leaders is to offer a better product at a lower price. The introduction of the Pentax K10D is a big step in that direction. The K10D ...
