  • The NZXT Whisper is aimed for silent computing and overall we feel that they have achieved it. With the decibel testing that we performed, the Whisper is just louder than a whisper quiet library. The cable management was good and allowed us to route o...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: There aren't a lot of cases on the market that come with sound dampening material. I'm not sure why this is considering it's relatively inexpensive. Thankfully the NZXT Whisper Case does have this foam on the side panels and the top and it makes for a very quiet build. I wish they had included some on the bottom, back and front as well though. • For a case that was designed for quiet operation the NZXT Whisper is certainly no slouch when it comes to cooling either. We were very impressed at the numbers when compared to the NZXT Tempest and found the case very roomy and easy to work with. A few...

  • The NZXT Whisper Classic Series Case accomplishes the goal it set out to do. Conquer noise. With a quietly designed system, unless I looked at the case and saw the lights, Id be hard pressed to tell you if the system was even on. When we put our perf...

  • Silent operation, Plenty of room for expansion, Lots of cooling out of the box, Sleek design
  • Weight – it’s very heavy, Front door seems fragile.
  • After using the Whisper for a few weeks I have to say the name fits. This is one of the quietest PC cases that I have encountered. Other than the sound of an occasional DVD being accessed I could barely tell when it was on. Although I prefer the PSU o...

  • With seven external 5.25" bays available and a mind numbing nine internal 3.5" drive bays, the Whisper would make an excellent sever or NAS case with a need for lots of storage. With some features like the insulated panels, rubber power supply cover an...

  • Superb Noise Reduction, Solid
  • Would have liked an extension for the 12V CPU connector,
  • The NZXT Whisper was designed to reduce noise and it does an excellent job of that. It is the quietest case I have ever seen. When I brought it into the bedroom and turned it on, my wife was shocked by how quiet it was. She thought I was lying when I s...

  • We believe the NZXT Whisper is a nice design chassis carefully thought through in many ways, but alsl believe its not good enough to reach an audiphile enthusiast and demanding market. We are used to see perfection from NZXT, its their reputation. T...

  • Limited airflow in upper section (adding optional front intake fan will help), Requires a PSU with extra long cables
  • The NZXT Whisper full-tower enclosure is a solid case that provides a lot of storage space and accommodates both E-ATX motherboards and larger expansion cards. Nine internal drive bay locations permit a lot of flexibility with room for up to nine HDD...

  • Well made, Easy access to drives, Decent cooling, Places to route cables, Lots of room inside
  • Door broke, Very heavy
  • The NZXT Whisper PC case is truly one of a kind in terms of quality, and true to it’s name it is very quiet. The hard drive racks are a very nice touch, they’re easy to access and having nine of them allows for quite a bit of storage. The cabl...
