  • Phenomenal performance, great overclocker, efficiency is top notch. This is the best highend GPU to land in years with a price that we feel is justified for what you get.
  • We are not crazy about the $100 premium for Founders Edition cards, but you can wait and get a GTX 1080 for less in a few weeks.

  • Outrageous performance leap over GTX 980, Hugely power efficient, Attractive premium design, Numerous new features
  • Doesn't blow away Radeon cards in heavily AMD-optimized games
  • The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 is the first graphics card built using 16nm technology after GPUs stalled on 28nm for four long years. The performance and power efficiency gains are nothing short of astounding...

  • Ability to Overclock, Comes with backplate, Low Power
  • None at this time
  • Well there is really not much more to comment on, based on price performance the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 is the most advanced video card I have ever tested. $699.00 (Founders Edition), Blows the socks off its competitors' current flagships, new implemente...

  • TDP and power draw is superb at 180W for such a high-performance GPU, Overclockability is very good so far  – GPU Boost 3.0 works with the Precision X overclock utility even though it is in beta, The reference design cooling is quiet and efficient; the ca

  • Abstract:  It's a packed house at Emos here in Austin Texas. The crowd is impatiently waiting for NVIDIA's latest announcement. At GTC 2016 Jensen Huang announced the latest Tesla HPC GPU's that house NVIDIAs 14nm Pascal processor. Is it possible that he will be ann...

  • Abstract:  I don’t think it’s much of a spoiler to say that the new Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti is the fastest consumer graphics card on the planet right now. There’d be villagers with flaming torches and pitchforks all the way up Walsh Avenue to Nvidia’s Santa Clara HQ otherwise. It’s a beautiful piece of silicon and technical engineering, both in the design of the Turing GPU itself as well as the physical Founders Edition card.

  • The Turing story is really only just getting started, and how it develops and eventually goes down in history will depend on levels of consumer response, developer support of the new features, and how well Nvidia can market it and convince gamers that Hyb...

  • Abstract:  Nvidia's GeForce business has been on a good run of late. So good, in fact, that the GTX 10-series, based on the Pascal microarchitecture, has been making hay for over two years. And why not, because the Pascal-based GPUs haven't had really serious compe...
