  • Abstract:  Ninja Gaiden II is a great game and a maddening one. In some respects, it improves upon the core Ninja Gaiden gameplay to exhilarating effect. Its flashier and its bloodier, and when those enhancements are in full force, the game offers the best acti...

  • Unrivalled action gameplay; exciting new weapons; online leaderboards; gorgeous backdrops, slick animation; impressively intelligent enemy AI.
  • Unforgiving difficulty for novice players; occasional frame-rate dips; infrequent mid-combat loading; troublesome camera at times.
  • Surrounded by enemies, facing off against insurmountable forces around every corner, but knowing that they will meet a bloody end at your hands... this is Ninja Gaiden II. Youll engage endless swarms of enemies in an exercise in non-stop dismemberment...

  • Abstract:  Historically, ninja are known for their proclivity for stealth tactics: silently slipping into the fortresses of their enemies, dispatching them quietly, and leaving behind no trace. Evidently, Team Ninja didn’t get the memo. Their Xbox 360 exclusive,...

  • Abstract:  Click the image above to check out one of the earlier boss fights.Ninja Gaiden's guts were never this satisfying, and for those who thrive on such things, I won't deter you from your meal. The deep combat is as rhythmic and precise as ever, and it's v...

  • Eye-popping graphics and effects that put you inside the game. The gameplay is effective and different but constantly challenges your button smashing abilities. Controls are unique but range from simple to complex.
  • The sound is not used nearly enough and is sometimes needed in important parts of the game. The difficulties are amazingly hard and starting on easy is recommended.

  • Abstract:  A few years ago Ninja Gaiden arguably set the standard for action games. It was loved for many a reason, but if you asked its most ardent fans they would be adamant that they treasured the title because of its firm but fair difficulty level. Regretfull...
