The editors liked

  • The Nikon D5600 delivers excellent photo quality for its price class
  • As well as performance that can keep up with your kids and pets

The editors didn't like

  • It may be too small for people with larger hands and it turns off the self-timer after every shot in single-shot mode

  • Nikon's strategy of offering similar sensor performance throughout the series of DX-format DSLRs continues with the D5600. In some ways, after seeing such good performance so often before, it's easy to be blasé or apathetic. Given that the only weak point...

  • The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV builds on the proven design of its popular 4-year-old predecessor, the 5D Mark III, upgrading just about every aspect of its performance, which all adds up to a much better, yet still familiar, all-round camera for stills and vid...

  • The EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D can trace its heritage back to the early days of digital photography and it shows. A very polished and well-thought out camera, the EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D is a great introduction to DSLR photography for those looking to make...
