  • The ultimate conversation piece for your home, App is reasonably simple, quick, and lots of fun, It's brighter than you think, though rated at just 100 lumens per triangle, It's brighter than you think, though rated at just 100 lumens per triangle
  • The connecters are quite loose and require careful attention when wall-mounting, No SmartThings or Wink compatibility, Dangling power cord kind of ruins the whole effect
  • What the Nanoleaf Aurora lacks in utility it more than makes up for in pure enjoyment...

  • Abstract:  These days, there are lots of ways you can add colorful light to your rooms, but most of them involve changing out standard lightbulbs with LED ones. If you're looking for something that's more of a cool accent light you can hang on your wall, you should...

  • Modular, Expandable, Super bright, Can control each triangle, HomeKit compatible,
  • Requires 2.4GHz network, Connectivity problems, Odd LED flashes, Flickering color transitions at low brightness
  • At $200, the Aurora Smarter Kit isn't cheap, but its uniqueness, vibrant colors, HomeKit support, and customizable design make it worth the price. It's almost more art than light, and while it won't light up an entire room, it's a perfect accent light or...

  • Nanoleaf's music-syncing Rhythm module is incredibly easy to use, and it works well with a wide variety of music. You can trigger rhythm presets using voice commands with Siri, Alexa or the Google Assistant
  • The tool for creating your own presets is very basic, only letting you pick a color palette and a single animation style
  • This is a no-brainer upgrade if you already own a set of color-changing Aurora panels, and a fun excuse to buy in if you're a tech-minded music lover...

  • Beautiful, Customizable, Fun to play with, Fairly bright
  • Doesn't support 5GHz networks, Sometimes goes offline for mysterious reasons
  • If you're looking for a fun way to spruce up a room, the Aurora, a $200 piece of functional art, isn't the worst way to do it. They look so cool hanging on the wall, it's no surprise that they're for sale at the MOMA store...
