Unless you want a Windows RT tablet with cellular connection, skip the Lumia 2520 and get the Surface 2 instead.

Windows 8 tablets have yet to officially take off as we've seen a number of them pop up in the market, but none that have completely wowed us. The Lumia 2520 has certainly wowed us as it brings Nokia's years of experience as a handset maker to the tablet...

Abstract: The tablet market doesn't look very different than it did a year ago from the perspective of who's doing well and who's not. Perhaps the most exciting developments came towards the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013 from the usual big guys: Google released...
While it might still struggle due to the limitations of Microsoft's Windows 8.1 RT operating system, Nokia has outdone rival manufacturers by stuffing the tablet full of its own features, be they its camera tools, quirky design or custom application lineu...
Excellent display, especially for use outdoors, Satisfactory battery life, Good overall responsiveness, Versatile, 4Gcompatible
Body materials, Charges only via power adapter (with a nonreassuring connector), Not as practical a design as the Surface 2's (microUSB 3.0, no stand...), Windows Store still needs more meat (very few games), Mediocre front camera, Very mediocre sound qua
Now a member of the Microsoft family, the "Nokia" Lumia 2520 doesn't offer much that the Surface 2 doesn't already—other than higher brightness and 4G. Plus, the materials aren't as nice, and it generally isn't as convenient to use. More than anything, we...
Great design and build quality, High quality display, Good connectivity and storage options, Good battery life
Proprietary charging port, Windows RT is infuriating, Some apps are badly optimised, Large widescreen form factor can be unweildy
Nokia's venture into the tablet space isn't very far removed from its smartphone efforts: a confusing blend of excellent exterior design and hardware with questionable software. It's not unusable by any means, but it does lack the pick-up-and-go usabili...
Bright, eye-catching design, Knockout display, Long-lasting battery life, Great price
Windows RT lacks power, Limited range of apps
All things considered, the Nokia Lumia 2520 is one of the most impressive tablets we've yet to see when it comes to its tactile, glossy design and that undeniably statement screen. Where it falls behind, as ever with Windows devices, is with its lack of a...

Excellent display; Office 2013 included; Good battery life
Windows RT; Proprietary charger; Buggy
A well designed tablet with a solid display and great battery life, let down by the operating system....
Overall the Nokia Lumia 2520 is a great device, it just has a few issues that when you look at the bigger picture you'll probably not buy the Lumia. First is the price, in this day and age when you can get full blown Windows 8.1 touch devices for a simila...
