  • Innovative and beginner-friendly control scheme, suitable for all ages, good range of fitness titles
  • Some games suffer from lag issues, setting up can be a chore
  • Kinect for Xbox 360 still has a lot to prove. The games we have seen so far are quite limited in scope (most are variations on the party and fitness genres). That said, the potential is there for more exciting and innovative titles in the future...

  • Oh my knees, my back, my legs…my body! - I grabbed myself Kinect on November 18th, the day it launched in Australia, and there was never a doubt I would get it. Sure, I read about the lag issues and the room you needed and all that stuff, but I wasn’...

  • Abstract:  The shiny new Kinect is here. The star child of Microsoft certainly gives you a feeling of wonderment when first trying this technological wonder. While the device certainly is an item that bridges much of the age gap in gaming, maybe even bringing fam...

  • Works with Windows PCs and Xbox One S
  • Two-piece, cable-laden setup, You still need to have a reason to use Kinect
  • If you want to use the Xbox One Kinect on your PC or Xbox One S, you need this adapter to do it...

  • Kinect is a fantastic accessory that will extend the Xbox 360's user base to new audiences. That said, for the moment there's no killer game that will make the Xbox 360's current fan base run down to stores with their wallets. This is compounded by th...

  • Abstract:  When Sony and Microsoft both said they wanted their latest console platforms to last in homes for a full decade, the enthusiast gamers out there (including me) scoffed at the idea. There was just no way that these platforms were going to last that l...

  • An engineering marvel; has the potential to add genuinely new genres to gaming; when it works, it astonishes.
  • Requires too much room to maneuver; doesn't work well with simultaneous players; lag time is exceedingly disconcerting; expensive; often fails to match movements onetoone; generally feels "unfinished."
