  • Abstract:  The Wii-make epidemic is beginning to look like a very real problem. What I'm referring to is when Nintendo takes a good title from their previous console, the GameCube, slaps on some form of gesture controls and then packages it as a new game. Don't get...

  • Plenty of enjoyable Mario Party-style baseball minigames. Great utilization of both the WiiMote and the Nunchuck attachment or the option to play sans Nunchuck. Can play many modes as your Mii.
  • Often irritating ferris-wheel style background music, sometimes touchy Wii controls and depth issues makes fielding unnecessarily difficult. Not the a pick-up-and-play game it promises to be.

  • Abstract:  It was only a matter of time before Nintendo got around to releasing stand alone versions of its Wii Sports games while including Mario and friends in for good measure. Previous Nintendo consoles have seen Mario Tennis and Mario Golf (as well as Baseba...

  • Abstract:  What Mario Super Sluggers lacks in online and single-player, it makes up for with depth, accessibility, and Funky Kong’s surfboard. While there seems to be an inordinate amount of hate for this game since it is one of Nintendo’s titles for core gamers...

  • Abstract:  While your mom and your little brother dig Wii Sports' Baseball, I would like to have a little more baseball in my baseball videogame titles. You know, like players with legs and arms. And fielding. Mario knows golf and tennis, but baseball? Nintendo ...

  • Abstract:  Mario Super Slugger might not hit a home run out of the park but it still offers a fun-filled gaming experience that I’m sure many Wii owners will check out. If the Challenge Mode offered some additional options then I know the game could have scored h...

  • Abstract:  The visuals in Mario Super Sluggers are solid, but don’t expect a huge leap in quality over the original GameCube version. I was impressed with the CG cut-scenes, and I kind of wished that the quality of these visuals were passed on to the gameplay its...
