The editors liked

  • The P350 looks good and it comes with a remarkably comprehensive printed manual. (The supplied manual is in draft form and we are assuming that this is how the finished book will appear.) The promised long print life is a desirable feature of any printer.
  • Small
  • Compact body
  • Inexpensive
  • Reasonable print costs
  • Decent print quality
  • Adjustable LCD

The editors didn't like

  • We printed via the computer and found that there was some graininess in the prints
  • Particularly in open shadow areas. We also found that colour was not well-matched on the PC and the printer -- this is an issue that can be fixed with fiddling of the s...
  • Slow print speeds
  • Limited image enhancements
  • Included desktop software is limited in range
  • No battery option

  • Improved ink and paper provide waterproof, smudge-resistant prints, large LCD for comfortable image viewing, good output quality.
  • Single tricolor ink cartridge, limited image editing functions, slow output speeds, no battery option.

  • Affordable, Tough construction
  • Very slow printing, Banding hurts print quality
  • Lexmarks portable P350 is inexpensive and easy to use, but its slow prints suffer from banding.

  • Undersaturated prints suffer from bronzing; no battery option; relatively slow print speeds.
