  • The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 looks as good as any 13-inch ultrabook, with the added attraction of a 360-degree screen and a laptop body that can fold into a tent, stand, or slate
  • Tablet mode leaves the keyboard exposed, and the Yoga 13 costs more than standard ultrabooks with similar components
  • The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is a convertible touch-screen laptop/tablet that most importantly doesn't compromise the traditional laptop experience.

  • AdvertisementProbably! The Yoga is a great laptop in its own right. Having a touchscreen and tablet mode is nice, but having a machine that actually works well is most important. From what weve seen, the Yoga pulls that off the best of the new Windows 8...

  • The Yoga 13 is available now from Lenovo starting at $999. It is a great laptop with a unique bending screen that can be used in a number of positions for different functions. It's a large touch tablet that can be used much the same as any tablet, yet one...

  • Doubles as a tablet, Processing power, Battery life (5 hrs) and weight (1.5 kg), Decent screen, Sound quality through headphone output and speakers
  • Very little connectivity, Overheating (up to 50°C)
  • It's official, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is a completely different beast than the Yoga 11. This one has a great screen and sound quality of the type we'd like to see more often on ultrabooks. With good battery life and a lightweight body, the Yoga 13 is ...

  • Decent screen, good build quality
  • Slowish processor, not cheap
  • The IdeaPad Yoga 13 offers an intriguing take on the tablet/laptop hybrid theme. It's well built, and works effectively, even if it's a bit heavy to be very attractive as a tablet. It's a shame the performance level doesn't quite match the premium price...

  • Abstract:  Never before has a hinge seemed like such a big deal, but Windows 8 has done some strange things to laptop manufacturers. While the Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 might look like most other laptops, it is actually a lithe, excitingly hinged transforming machin...

  • Abstract:  Moving somewhat off the beaten track, we arrive at this, the IdeaPad Yoga. We keep getting told that Windows 8 is an operating system designed to work with tablet PCs, so here's an Ultrabook that more or less approximates one. The convertible IdeaPad Yoga...

  • Lenovo’s taken some cues from its rock solid ThinkPad line with the Yoga: it’s a sturdy bit of kit. While there’s only a slight bit of flex in the keyboard and it’s quite hefty folded over in 'tablet' mode, the rest of the machine is rigid and definitely screams high quality when it first graces your hands. The transforming nature of the Yoga is what makes it unique: it folds back perfectly as des
  • Unfortunately, while the Lenovo Yoga 13 excels as an Ultrabook with a touchscreen when working with Windows 8, its size makes it too big to be truly useful as a full-time tablet. Folded on itself, as a tablet it’s a bit ungainly, and the widescreen ratio of a laptop just isn’t helpful when you’re holding the machine, rather than the table: it’s too wide to comfortably type with, and impossibly lo
  • The Lenovo Yoga 13 is a great touchscreen Ultrabook, but its tablet function falls flat due to the unwieldy size and heft, making it more party trick than useful talent. On the other hand, its propped up tent option more than makes up for it, and makes...
