  • Shooting with a Leica has never been easier than it is with the M240. Not only is the new sensor a great performer, but features like live view, video, and focus peaking dramatically expand the overall experience. The M is still a tool designed to take gr...

  • Wonderful picture quality, lovely to use and probably the best looking camera on the market.
  • Video is a little primitive and tricky to use, writing images to your SD card can get sticky and the body is too heavy
  • It's a wonderful camera for those that can afford but it's not the perfect digital rangefinder yet. Still, anyone care to lend us five grand?...

  • The Leica M (Typ 240) is the camera that many a rangefinder photographer has been waiting for. It fixes many of the issues of previous models, but it doesn't come cheap....

  • In updating the Leica M9 with more current features, one cant help get the feeling that Leica has slightly missed the point with the M Typ 240. Yes, the additions of live view, an EVF and full HD video are welcome (especially for Leica R-mount owners), b...

  • The Leica M Monochrom is one of the more fascinating cameras we've ever reviewed. It has an impressively well-built body that is designed for a very small niche of shooters who want a camera that does one thing extremely well at the expense of nearly ever...

  • The Leica M Monochrom is somewhat unsual, as many will baulk at the idea of paying such a large chunk of change for a camera that can't even take colour snaps. However, if you've got the cash to spend, you're unlikely to be disappointed. Do we need the Mo...

  • Abstract:  Leica rangefinder cameras were beloved of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and other legends of photojournalism who documented the historic events of the 20th century. They shot almost exclusively in black and white. Now, there is the new Leica M Monoc...
