  • Cheap! Impressive sound quality, Loaded with features, Quality screen and video playback, Good battery life
  • Unintuitive interface, Poor button response, Dated, clunky design
  • As a fan of irivers products in general, I have to say I expected something a bit different from the E100. When I first spied this player on their website a few months back I was anticipating a slightly more capable unit. However, it appears that iriv...

  • But, all-in-all, the E100 is not a player I'd be happy recommending. Apart from its good quality audio output, decent range of features and Flac support, there's very little about this player that makes it stand out from the competition. And it has its sh...

  • Compatible with several audio and video formats, microSD Card slot
  • Finicky controls, Tight viewing angles, Plain design
  • Just by looking at the iriver E100’s expansive feature set—built-in stereo speakers, line-in recording, microSD Card slot, FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) support—it appears to be a compelling option for music fans. A wonky control pad...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: Everyone seems to have an iPod of some sort, but they’re not the only personal media players on the market. For example, there’s the iRiver E100. It might just be the right mobile media device for you, but there’s only one way to find out...

  • The iRiver E100 is packed with pretty much every feature in the book--photo and video playback, an FM radio, all recording capabilities, compatibility with both Windows and Mac, extensive audio file format support, bookmarking, microSD card expansion, ...
  • The iRiver E100 has a cheap, plastic feel, and the interface is very basic. The clickpad is not totally responsive, and some navigation is sluggish. D-Click navigation isnt optimal for the control pad setup. No integrated podcast support.
  • The iRiver E100 is a decent choice for people who want a ton of features in an easy-to-use package, but if youre after speedy navigation or top-notch sound quality, look elsewhere.
