The editors liked

  • Intense gameplay
  • Gripping campaign
  • Distinct multiplayer factions
  • Some utterly fantastic and thrilling set-piece battles
  • Co-op support for up to four players makes the campaign more entertaining
  • Most of the weapons feel right and are fun to shoot

The editors didn't like

  • Limited multiplayer modes The Final Word The graphics and multiplayer modes are a let-down
  • Especially considering Hazes excellent narrative. There is enough to the game to provide some entertainment

  • Abstract:  Given that I saw an early version of Haze 10 months ago, and it didn’t look that bad, I was expecting the final version to knock my socks off visually, however this was not the case. Don’t get me wrong, there are times when the visuals do show...

  • Abstract:  The fiercely competitive first-person-shooter genre welcomes its latest competitor, Free Radical Design’s Haze. The folks behind the TimeSplitters series certainly have their work cut out for them as Haze is not only an FPS following in the bar-raisin...

  • Abstract:  On paper, Haze had all the makings of a PS3-exclusive classic but, thanks to poor execution, it just doesn’t have what it takes to be a fun first-person shooter or a good game in general. I really wanted to like this game but there are so many elements...

  • Abstract:  During the eighties, former First Lady Nancy Reagan pleaded with youngsters to "just say no" to drugs. Twenty years later, Haze flies in the face of Mrs. Reagans pleas to stay clean with drug-addled gameplay that delivers some genuine thrills. But you...
