  • It's an expensive piece of equipment, but the Geneva Model S is a well-designed mini hi-fi system. Anyone happy to spend the required money should (hopefully) be used to the finer things, and the Model S doesn't disappoint. ...

  • Sounds as good as it looks, Impressively loud for its size,
  • Some features accessible only using the remote, Touch-sensitive controls too easy to trigger accidentally
  • Simply put, the Model S is great. The unit itself is eye-catching, the touch-sensitive buttons—particularly the scroll wheel—are clever, and the sound quality is excellent. The motorized tray strikes me as a bit unnecessary, but as long as you keep th...

  • Almost as loud as Liberace's wardrobe (definitely cheaper). Chrome pedestal helps reduce reflection (i.e. music sounds better when dock's on the stand). Motorized dock cover automatically closes when iPod is removed.
  • Travelphobic: At seven pounds, this sucker's a pain to relocate, let alone tote. Death of physical media: no CD player! Slight but noticeable sound reflection when not sitting on the stand. Figuring out how to set the alarm requires reading the manual...

  • Clear, detailed, punchy sound, Agile and precise timing, Excellent build quality, Intuitive controls, Clock radio features are a bonus
  • No USB charging port
  • We're impressed with this Geneva Speaker. Some rival speakers offer more extensive connectivity, but the Geneva Model S Wireless DAB+ cuts its own niche with clock radio features accompanying the universal Bluetooth connection. And with such superb sou...

  • Abstract:  The GenevaSound S is a smoothly contoured, high-gloss, lacquered desktop- or bedside-table-friendly elongated cube, 23.5cm x 15.6cm x 17.6cm and weighing 3.2kg. It can be placed flat on a surface, or mounted on an (included) aluminium stalk, which is Gene...

  • Lacks bass, Inflexible
  • The Model S is an extremely sophisticated dock full of design touches that will please owners and delight visitors. Performance will divide opinion based on your musical leanings and bass heads need not apply, but there are few sharper, more precise docks...
