This camera not only feels right to anyone brought up on classic 35mm film cameras it also delivers the goods in excellent images with good colour
Sharpness and dynamic range. The lens is outstanding and the viewfinder simply brilliant.

The only thing that may hold the X100 back in the market place is the noninterchangeable lens. 23mm on an APSC sensor is moderate wideangle and won't be to everyone's liking
Even if it is optically dazzling
Sluggish performance
Especially for such a high-priced camera
And a frustrating navigation control make shooting with the camera a lot less fluid than it should be

Fokussieren im Nahbereich, nicht allzu schnell, beschränkter Einsatzbereich, teuer
Die anfängliche Begehrlichkeit hat sich während des Tests in dem tiefen Wunsch manifestiert, die X100 nie wieder herzugeben. Leider warten schon die nächsten Kollegen auf dieses Testgerät. Wollte Fuji eine Referenz für die qualitätsbewusste Nische bauen...
