  • Abstract:  We might not have been so interested in this Bluetooth streaming music dock had Creative not brought some of its Singapore HQ team to the Sydney launch, notably Tan Lip Hwee, the resident acoustic engineer, who spoke enthusiastically about the company's a...

  • Creative speak true to their words when they boast the high quality sound of the Creative ZiiSound D5. The sound quality is very impressive for its size and the fact that audio is being transferrerd wirelessly. Creative ZiiSound D5 also gets a thumbs u...

  • Abstract:  Both speaker systems offer approximately the same performance and both can really fill a room if necessary. • At $250, the ZiiSound D5 isn’t inexpensive, but it delivers great physical design and outstanding audio quality. And although the D5 works well as a traditional Bluetooth speaker system, the included dongle affords iPhone and iPod owners exceptional v...

  • Cuts the cord without sacrificing fidelity.
  • Distorts if driven too hard; relies on iPod’s analogaudio output.

  • Speaker bar with integrated Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming; compact design ideal for shelf placement; optimized Bluetooth dongle included for iPods and iPhone
  • Cloth covering is susceptible to fraying, fairly pricey
  • Though the price of the Creative ZiiSound D5 Bluetooth speaker is a bit steep, its simple, attractive design and decent sound make it recommendable. Read full review See all prices

  • Quality wireless audio. Simple, visually pleasing design. Bluetooth dongle lets the iPod becomes its own remote control. Works through walls.
  • Speakers can't handle deep bass at high volumes. Bluetooth audio signal can be weak—range must stay within roughly 30 feet. When docked, iPod still uses Bluetooth instead of direct connection for audio.
