  • Canon are putting emphasis on the ease with which a compact camera user can adapt to the DSLR

  • Auto focus in live view is frustratingly lethargic
  • Requires menu-surfing to find some options
  • The control layout isn't as streamlined as we think it could be
  • Meagre burst rate
  • Not built for those with large hands
  • Stills photographers might find it too similar to the 550D. No selectable RAW sizes
