  • Undoubtedly your first view of Mount Rockmore after unlocking every effigy
  • Epic
  • Ozzy Osbourne as the Guardian of Metal is hands down one of the coolest combinations since Fatboy Slim and Christopher Walken
  • Fantastic characters and humorous story
  • Environments and characters have a great visual style
  • Soundtrack has a wonderful swath of metal
  • Stage battles are fun and challenging in multiplayer

The editors didn't like

  • The clunky combat system is sure to get on some players’ nerves
  • Side missions get boring fast
  • Single-player campaign is short

  • Great atmosphere, brutal gameplay, one of the best and most fitting soundtracks ever, excellent open environment to explore, amusing and entertaining game concept.
  • Unit commands can be a bit confusing, one liners can be a bit much at times.

  • Awesome art style, Humorous voice acting, Killer OST
  • RTS Mode, Choppy framerates, Terrible Navigation, Painfully boring combat, Broken open world structure
  • Mixing things up is a Real Time Strategy-esque mode that pops up automatically in the game – A LOT! Even though the concept is RTS 101 (and a bit of Tower Defense 101), its execution is still in third person which makes managing your units a total b...

  • Abstract:  A tribute to Metal Gods and head-bangers across the globe, Tim Schafer and his team’s latest labour of love has finally seen the light of day. Brütal Legend is just as much an accolade to the Metal bands of yore, as it is critical of the Glam Rock b...

  • Abstract:  AS A child, I had my misgivings about heavy metal music. Then, they spelled demonic possession, ritual sacrifice, hidden mystical powers, bloody skulls and vampish babes.Brutal Legend has taken all that and carved it into an amazing mainstream game tha...

  • Genialer Humor, Fantastische (englische) Sprecher, Gutes Grafikdesign, Drei Schwierigkeitsgrade, Einer der besten Soundtracks aller Zeiten, Freischaltbare Extras, Interessanter MehrspielerModus, Cooles Hauptmenü
