  • Abstract:  To all the Rare-haters out there: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (the latest in a series that's scarcely been heard from since the Nintendo 64 days, barring a pair of Game Boy Advance spin-offs) puts the ailing developer on the road back to relevancy. Nut...

  • Abstract:  "This is a platform game", my Microsoft E3 guide assures me as we sit down for some hands on time with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. That being said, the inclusion of near-infinitely variable vehicles certainly adds a new dimension to the typical concep...

  • Abstract:  Banjo and Kazooie have spent almost a decade as a dusty old franchise stacked on a shelf in the back of one of Rare’s ideas cupboard. I can only imagine that a random Rare employee accidentally stumbled across it whilst rootling for a mop, and wondered...

  • Same old classic humour, robust vehicle design
  • Few game engine problems, twitchy vehicle handling
  • Comebacks are almost universally disasters in the gaming world, but Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts proves that not everything is set in stone...

  • Nuts & Bolts is a fantastically fun game. It may threaten to overcomplicate itself from time to time, but it’s impossible to play and not come out with a smile on your face. 8.9/10Print this pageUser reviews (1)Share this pageNoticed something wrong...

  • Most colorful game on 360, Rammed with experimental fun, Selfreferential humor
  • Ridiculously overcomplicated, Too much collecting, Not really a Banjo game

  • Fantastic vibrant graphics. Wacky environments to race your bizarre creations in. Multiplayer madness and ability to share your creations amongst friends. Nice physics that make all your creations handle differently.
  • Takes a while to pick up the parts to create more complex vehicles. Endless racings may become tiresome, although creating your own vehicles does help to avoid this.

  • Abstract:  Rare was the one company that developed with near unshakeable quality for the Nintendo 64, and their buy-out by Microsoft left some fans slightly bitter. That said, I dont think any of those that defected from the Big N to Microsoft during the follow...

  • Abstract:  How many 64 fans went out and got themselves a 360? Whatever the figure, the reception of Banjo Kazooe: Nuts & Bolts could be dependent on it. Rare was the one company that developed with near unshakeable quality for the Nintendo 64, and their buy-out ...
