Suboptimal tagging, Some elements still pig, ugly, Few moments of excitement, Feels a bit unfinished
On balance, the experience is positive, but there's a feeling Mavericks is a touch unfinished and that this iteration of OS X was rushed. Our hope is that Mavericks represents further evidence of Apple rapidly iterating OS X, bringing new features and id...

Battery life improvements are great, notifications, improved multiple display support, it's free (from Snow Leopard and beyond)

Abstract: Mavericks has plenty of modest refinements that add up to a system well worth the upgrade - even if Apple weren't giving it away for free. Many years ago, Web surfing changed dramatically when the Opera browser offered a way to open multiple Web pages in t...
Abstract: I woke up yesterday (a bit difficult, because I stayed up the night before to watch the Apple Event) and proceeded to download the new, free OS X 10.9 upgrade, or as it's better known, Mavericks .Frankly, I was willing to shell out upwards of US$30-$50 fo...
