  • Great touchscreen interface, good video playback, web surfing via Wi-Fi.
  • Poor battery life, lacks features found in the iPhone.
  • So is the much-hyped Touch worth your money? It really depends on what you want out of it. Its undeniable that it is, in essence, a cut-down iPhone, and if the extra features (including Bluetooth, and unsurprisingly, telephony) of the iPhone appeal, t...

  • Abstract:  Spot poll: Who doesn’t like some new gear, especially when the new pieces of bling sport the bitten fruit logo ‘round the back? This week, A Byte of Apple takes a long hard look (see our Exclusive Photo gallery as well) at the 2010 lineup of iPods – t...

  • In conclusion, the Apple iPod Touch gives you the best bang for your buck. You get all the tools available on the much coveted Apple iPhone, just minus the phone. If you want your mp3 player to do more for you than just play music than the Apple iPod T...

  • Movies are simply delicious on the huge, 480 x 320 screen, and it doesnt get hot during playback. So featurepacked its almost a standalone computer.
  • Version 1.x owners have to pay for upgrade to OS 2.1. Battery life could be better, and 8 video playback stops when power dips below 10 percent.

  • Abstract:  The final component of the iPod Touch puzzle is iTunes. Of course, this is the connection between your computer and your iPod Touch. And I will admit that this is a big reason I put off purchasing an iPhone for so long. I have never been a fan of i...

  • Abstract:  It is a common misconception that Apple invented the portable media player a little over 10 years ago with the original iPod. Nothing could be further from the truth. Digital music has been around much longer than that. In fact, I still remember co...

  • Abstract:  Recently, I had the opportunity to purchase an iPod Touch, and surprised myself quite a bit by jumping all over it. I say surprised myself, because I have spent the last couple of years using and reviewing almost every portable media player out there ...

  • Abstract:  Much as I grew to loathe the Apple Macs while at university, I have fallen for the iTouch faster than Romeo fell for Juliet. Having waited a long time and not bought one, my patience was rewarded by the release of the 32GB version, as the smaller memor...

  • Standard iPod touch features such as iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store and Safari web browsing just as welcome as ever; now includes five Internet applications; good battery performance.
  • Video isnt as bright as iPhone; no external volume controls or support for remote control.
  • If you’ve held off on purchasing an iPod touch because it hasn’t offered enough of the iPhone’s functionality or storage, it may be time to reconsider unbuckling your credit card. Granted, the display could be a bit brighter and it...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: Apples iPod touch is sleek, sexy and innovative. Coming in sizes of 8GB and 16GB, the touch looks similiar to an iPhone but is slightly thinner.
