The iPad Mini costs too much
Especially considering the lower resolution of its 7.9-inch non-Retina Display. The A5 processor isn't as robust as the one in the fourth-gen iPad and iPhone 5. Typing on the smaller screen is not quite as comfy

It’s an iPad, but smaller. Boiling down the iPad mini to its core premise may not tell you everything you need to know about the 7.9-inch tablet, but it does set the scene: Apple’s legendary build quality, iOS and the hundreds of thousands of tablet ap...

The iPad Mini's non-retina display is certainly not a bad display by any stretch of the imagination, it's just nowhere near as good as screens with higher resolutions. It's also expensive compared to the Nexus 7. We'll have a full review of the Apple ...

Abstract: When iPad mini rumors started, the focus was more on Apple's market opportunity and less on any dire need for a smaller iPad. After all, we have small iPhones, and we have big iPads. Is something in between going to change anything? After testing and playi...
Abstract: C'mon, you know Apple's almost always going to win this particular battle, especially when pitted against a budget priced product. The iPad mini is the most attractive iPad yet: it's absurdly thin and light. The anodized aluminum back is gorgeous and the ...

Beautiful, thin and light design, Stellar battery life, Bright, clear display, Sturdy construction
Too wide for some, Pricier than many 7-inch alternatives
The iPad mini isn't just an Apple tablet made to a budget. This isn't just a shrunken-down iPad. This is, in many ways, Apple's best tablet yet...

The iPad Mini 2 has a sharp Retina screen, an ultraportable design, great battery life and it's the most affordable tablet with access to the iOS App Store. Upgradeable to iOS 10 later this year
Android and Amazon tablets -- and even Windows laptops -- are available for less. Base model includes only 16GB of non-expandable storage. It's missing the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and split-screen feature found on newer iPads
If you want the full, polished Apple tablet experience in a smaller package, the iPad Mini is worth the premium price. Otherwise, good alternatives are available for less money.
Abstract: The first reviews of the iPad Mini are out and they're just like we expected. Smaller is nice! It's so light! But having such a hefty price tag without a Retina Display is sorta disappointing. Is the iPad Mini worth the cost?CNET:The iPad Mini is a shocki...
